Brother Aleksei is a nonsectarian monastic who lives and performs his duties in the world rather than in a monastery. He believes in One God who has many names and who is behind all creeds and religions. He believes that God has an individualized presence of Himself in each and every person, and that every person is free to choose to either accept or reject the Presence.
To those who choose to accept the Presence as their own intimate friend and helper and their direct link to the One God, Brother Aleksei speaks of the vital importance of regular prayer and meditation.
