Smile

Many people avoid looking at their reflection in the mirror, especially when they are not in their best shape—when they are tired, ill, or just appear visibly older. Often they make emotional statements to themselves about how “terrible” they look. If you are one of those people, beware! You are reinforcing the underlying cause in your subconscious mind. An emotionalized rejection has the same amount of materializing power as an emotionalized acceptance. It is a strong command to the subconscious mind to establish or maintain the condition that caused the emotion. Look your reflection in the eye. Stare it down. Smile, laugh, and affirm with deep concentration the exact opposite of what you see. “By the Grace of God, I am whole and renewed. I feel and look wonderful. I am a beautiful child of a beautiful Parent. Thank you, Lord, for your healing presence.”
